Anambra State University becomes first government tertiary institution to resume academic activities amid Coronavirus fear

The Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu University Anambra State (formerly known as Anambra State University) has resumed academic activities for first year and final year students respectively.

The announcement was made in a text signed by the school's registrar, Dr(Mrs) Ngozi Ezeibe. In the text, it was stated that first year students are to return back to school on August 13th, 2020 while final year students in the College of Medicine would resume on August 20th, 2020.

It should be however noted that the FG earlier this year shut down all educational institutions in the country following the widespread of the Coronavirus and has not given a date for reopening.
